A little bit about us

Hi! My babies are 6 months and 4 years old. We will need someone to start watching them mid April. My 4 year old will start pre-k in August, so the goal is to find someone we trust to take her and pick her up on the days I work then bring back home until dad gets off (while caring for infant the whole day.) The hours will be 7am- 4pm twice a week. My schedule will be haywire the first few weeks— but i will provide as much information in a timely manner that I can in regards to scheduling!

A little bit about us

*begin March of 2025 for a 3 month old*

We will need someone 8-9 hours a day, roughly once a week. It’ll be a different day each week but the schedule will be available weeks/months in advance. Good driving history and no criminal background.

We have the ability to be flexible with times but not dates. It does not need to be the same 8-9 hours for every day you babysit and can fluctuate depending on ours and your schedule. Any consecutive 8-9 hours between 4am and 7:30pm. We are more than happy to be flexible as long as we’re getting the best care.

A little bit about us

Hi! We’re a growing family of 4 - fur child included. We’re hoping to find someone help us out a couple of hours a day with childcare - potential to become full-time. We both work almost entirely from home, but our newest addition to the family requires some extra love naturally. Our fur child is a lovely King Cavalier who is quite friendly. He naps most of the day, but likes to hang out with his dad mostly. No pick-up, drop-off, pet care, etc. Job would mainly be to help take care of our newborn girl and supporting tasks. Hope we can connect 🙂

How to Find an Infant Care Job in DeLand, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in DeLand, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in DeLand, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
