A little bit about us

I’m looking for a local nanny that can help me and my family. I have two boys in school, one almost 6 and the other a little over two. I need help Monday through Friday from 6-8. Some days we might need you to do pick up, other wise we need help with cooking family meals, laundry and bed time routine (bath, lotion, pjs, teeth, nails, reading). We also have another little boy joining in May. We would also love help some weekends or date nights during the week but not a reoccurring schedule more like as needed. We do have two sets of grandparents, so we have additional help as well. We do have a dog, kara, she is very sweet and she is 3.

A little bit about us

Very lively loving family: 17 and 13 year old girls, self-sufficient who just need gentle reminders to do their chores, (laundry, cook, clean etc.) 12 year old boy who is the most cooperative of the bunch and gets his chores and homework done without grumbling. 6 year old boy, most rambunctious, but always makes life fun; he is ADHD and needs special attention. But he is part time with his dad. 8 month old baby boy always smiling and giggling. He sleeps through the night and love to eat!

I work nights so I need a nanny in the evenings, through the nights with the most busy times being after and before school. We do not have extra-curricular activities such as sports at this time.

A little bit about us

We are looking for someone to care for our fun-loving 1 year old son, Rowen, and active, nearly 8yo daughter, Mirabella. We mostly need evenings, overnights, and mornings on various days of the week and occasionally weekends and holidays. You may sleep and rarely have to get up for Rowen and sometimes to snuggle Mirabella. We also need availability for sick days and someone ok with caring for occasional sick kids as with Rowen in daycare this is a possibility. With about 2 weekends a month and 1-3 days/week this can equate to full time or part time pending your availability. We do need a dog lover as we have a sweet Great Dane, Luna as well.

A little bit about us

We’re creative parents seeking a part-time caretaker for our fun loving three month old, starting in January.

we’re looking for someone to help spark joy and curiosity in our son over the span of an ongoing part time position. Silly songs, dancing, pretending to play the assorted instruments of the house that create smiles and giggles during playtime. Lots of tummy time and a close connection to an active infant who is inquisitive, engaging, cuddly, friendly, and very sweet.

Care would take place in our home for about 20 hours a week. Light upkeep of baby related items expected and other house work encouraged if it helps pass time with a watchful eye.

Our son is our shining light and we look forward to finding someone who encourages his bright future.

A little bit about us

We are a loving Italian American family in search of a part-time nanny to care for our adorable 9-month-old baby girl on weekday mornings. Our little one is a cheerful, curious bundle of joy who keeps life entertaining with her belly giggles, love for silly faces, and her ever-so-serious “business baby” expressions when she’s trying to figure out her toys. She’s happiest when she’s babbling, reading one of her books, or enjoying a relaxing stroller ride.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Sarasota, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Sarasota, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Sarasota, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
