Baby due in September, so early searching for an in home nanny once the baby is here and I have to go back to work (mid December). Weekly Monday - Wednesday 9:30-4:30 PM then additional time as needed (example: date nights, weddings, etc). I work from home so I’ll be available in case of an emergency! I have dogs, you won’t have to take care of them, but just an FYI as folks scared of dogs aren’t a good fit.

A little bit about us

I live with my elderly mother and I am due in late may. My husband will be out of the country for work over this summer. This job would require new born care and light housekeeping. I work from home and i take care of my mother. I am also doing a c-section procedure so the first few months will be difficult for me. I would like the nanny to provide overnights and full days and nights. So this is a 24 hour live in nanny. You will recieve weekends off. I am flexible with my schedule so extra days off will defintely be doable, with vacation days off as well.
I am looking for a live in nanny last minute because the last nanny i had planned to bring in cancelled.
You will have your own private room and bathroon and closet. The kitchen is open use as well as any common area of the house. We have a beautiful home with lots of space and a lovely pool that you are welcome to relax in. We are quiet people and i work from home so i will be around most of the time. My pay is flexible along with a contract as well. We are also offering free room and board along with the services. Of course any applicants will have a background check along with a copy of their drivers license/ID as well. Thank you and please do mot hesistate to contact me for any further questions.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Tamarac, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Tamarac, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Tamarac, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
