A little bit about us

I’m a nurse and mom of 4 and my husband is a truck driver. He is on the road for a few weeks at a time. I have a 14 year old son, an 11 year old daughter, a 2 year old daughter, and a 1 month old daughter. I am a night shifter, but with my newborn I prefer to work day shift so I am with her at night. My 2 year old is non-verbal. I don’t require any meal prepping (except warming breast milk for the newborn) or a sippy cup for the 2 year old. Must have own transportation and know CPR.

A little bit about us

Hi there! We have 4 children and are looking for a part time nanny. I am a stay at home mom, but we live far away from family so we would like to find a part time nanny to help out during the week and possibly some weekends. Our 3 girls are a blast!! They love music, books, dancing, crafts, barbies, playing dress up, and all things Disney! Our youngest is still a newborn, but our house is completely baby proof with a safe and gated area just for him. We hope to find the perfect fit for our family!!

I need a nanny to start in April 2024, my son will be 4 and I'll have a newborn. I'll be there for the first couple weeks before I go back to work. Childcare would be 7 am to 5 pm, these hours will be adjusted once I know my new schedule. I need someone that has a clean driving record, as my son would need to go to vpk.

Looking for a weekly Friday nanny (one day a week) in our home from approx 8am-2pm. And additional care Saturdays at the market from 8-12. I work from home so will be there, but my kids are at a playful age now and need full attention of care to occupy them, and keep them out of the kitchen where I work. I’d love a bit of education mixed into their play, a second language to English would be something our family could appreciate, and light cleaning help would be helpful as well, but not required. Looking to hire a good fit for our family and schedule immediately.

A little bit about us

Hello! My name is Emily! My husband and i are both law enforcement and are currently looking for someone to come into our home and watch our children! We have 2 (2 YO girl, 10 month old boy) the schedule is a little complicated. You have long and short weeks so on a long week you will work Mon, Tues,Fri, Sat, Sun and on a short week you only work Wed, Thurs. the weeks alternate long to short every other week. The hours would be from 5am to 6:30 pm. And then they will vary once i go to night shift. The hours may be a little shorter. (Ex. 8am -6:30pm) we currently pay $1,100 a month to our child care but we are looking for something different so i am hoping to stay around that price or i can be flexible and go up a little. You only work 14 days out of the month but the hours consider it full time. The expectations is to just watch our kids inside of our home, keep them on their schedule, feed them, etc.

My 3 year old son has level 2 high functioning autism. I need someone to watch him & his little sister. I am pregnant & give birth in August. I would like someone who could watch my kids at home while I’m in labor at the hospital. I am high risk pregnancy & may be able to schedule my induction date. Their father wants to be there for the birth of course but we just need some help.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Ocala, FL

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ocala, FL

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ocala, FL? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
