Just need a nanny to watch my child in between my husband’s career and my career. We have a gap in child coverage and need someone reliable who can cover that at least 3-4 days a week.

I have a baby boy name Theo and he is currently 2 months old. We will need a nanny starting in July for part-time but would love for someone who is flexible asap.

Part-time would be Monday-Wednesdays on most days and then once a month Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm.

A little bit about us

Well I have 3 wonderful kids. Maliah, Malaysia, and Myles. They are great kids and very respectful. Myles is 2 months. Maliah and Malaysia are twins, and they are 9. I’m looking for someone who will love and treat my kids the way I do. Someone that they will love and wouldn’t mind staying with them. I want them to have a close bond with their nanny. I would love Monday-Friday nanny. From 8-5:30. For the most part the twins are very good. Sometimes they may want to go outside or sometimes they love their electronics. As far as Myles he is a very loving humble baby. He just like to be treated as a big boy. They all speak English. They have no special needs or allergies.

He has a schedule I’ll have you try to stick to, but you’re welcome to do what you need while he’s napping or if I have him! I’m open to you bringing your own baby as well! Hours would be somewhere between 9am-5pm for 5 hours a day!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Martinez, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Martinez, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Martinez, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
