A little bit about us

Looking for full time care for a 15mo boy starting ASAP. Hours are M-F, 8am-5pm ET, with a 2 hour paid break during nap from 12:30pm-2:30pm . Our boy is walking, so important to be able to keep up physically and wear him out. We have 2 cats and a golden retriever, so being comfortable working around animals is huge. Mom and dad WFH full time. We are currently pregnant with #2, expected to arrive in Feb 2026. Mom will take 6 months maternity leave, so help with toddler and newborn will be expected during that time (you will likely care only for 1 at a time while mom is on leave). Once mom is back at work, you will be responsible for both. Responsibilities are strictly child related: feeding, changing, playing and supervising, cleaning up after children during work hours. Sick care is a must- if our kids have the sniffles, we still need you. Serious illnesses will not be your responsibility, but we do expect you here for the common cold. We don't want you to clean our home or take care of our pets, just our kids.

[phone number hidden] Holidays will be paid / off:
Thanksgiving: [phone number hidden]
Christmas: Weekdays of 12/22-1/2
Memorial Day: [phone number hidden]th of July: 7/3
Labor Day: 9/7
2026 Thanksgiving: [phone number hidden] Christmas: 12/22-1/1 weekdays

Sick days are paid, PTO available with reasonable notice of 2+ weeks for 1-2 days off, 4+ weeks notice for a week off.

We need someone reliable, so if you have trouble being on time, wanting to leave early, or constantly having personal issues, this is not the job for you. We are as accommodating as we can be, but our jobs are not conducive to multiple last minute call outs. We build our schedules around you being here at certain times. We are comfortable with outings once we have gotten to know you and see you in action.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Dalton, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Dalton, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Dalton, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
