Kriston W.
Casa Grande$17.14/hr  |  < 1 yr experience
I have been a career nanny for over the past ten years. I have cared for children ranging in age from preemie infant twins who were on heart and lung monitors, to age 21 with both mental and physical disabilities. I have cared for up to four children in one family, all children under the age of 5. I have also done group child care in which I have watched about 10-12 middle schoolers by myself. I am CPR, First Aid and blood borne pathogens certified. I also have many various child care certificates I have earned over the years. I am very well versed in the child care world having done everything from date nights to full time 60 hours plus nanny jobs, I have run my own childrens recreational center, as well as my own nanny placement company. I have also established and ran several summer camp and day camp programs. I am willing to care for almost all pets, I do have an irrational fears of birds oddly enough! I am great with household chores such as laundry, dishes and light household cleaning. I believe your home should look better when you come home than when you left in the morning. I love to teach children and watch them learn. That AHA moment when they finally get something is the most magical experience. I love to read to them and sing to them and with them. I believe in going outside everyday, even if its just for a stroll around the neighborhood. I believe in teaching children manners and helping them grow to be good compassionate people. I like to allow children to learn through experiences and learn while playing. I believe that anything you do during the day can be a learning event for children, even if it is just them watching how you do or handle things.
