A little bit about us

We live in North Shore Chattanooga & are looking for a nanny for two boys M-F 9am-5 p.m.

Our 4-year-old attends MDO two days a week. Our newborn (born July 2023) is home full time. So this position is for 40 hours a week (care for both boys together 30 hours/week + care for the newborn alone the remaining 10 hours/week while older is at MDO).

Neighborhood is walkable with community pool. Our 4 YO loves going to the zoo, aquarium, crafts, etc. Our younger son is an infant, so responsibilities include maintaining nap schedules, introducing foods, teaching songs, hand signals, etc. Will also be responsible for occasionally transporting the kids.

Primary job responsibility will be to supervise, care for, feed, transport and play with the children. While on duty, will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating social and educational experience by participating in age-appropriate activities at the home as well as outside the home. Many days you will also be responsible for preparing the children’s meals, bathing them when necessary, changing diapers promptly, laundering the children’s clothing and linens (burp cloths, bibs, sheets, blankets, towels, etc.), washing/sanitizing dishes and bottles used by the children, as well as maintaining and organizing the play space and kids rooms (closet and drawers), all as necessary.

We prefer applicants be fully vaccinated including against COVID-19 & CPR certified.

Not interested in caregiver bringing own children to work with them.

A little bit about us

Hello!! We're seeking a nanny for our two small children. We have a 4 year-old daughter and a two year- old son.

We will need our nanny to pick-up our two kids from school and bring them to their afternoon activities (gymnastics, swimming, soccer, etc.) so it's important to us that you have a good, reliable vehicle and a clean driving record! The hours of work would be 12:50pm to 6pm Monday through Friday.

We are a warm, happy and friendly family, so we are searching for someone who will blend in with our family dynamic. My husband and I will be working full-time so it's important that we find the right person and someone who is willing to help out as much as possible. That would include cleaning any dishes the kids use, helping to clean up toys and activities, making snacks and other meals. We look forward to meeting you!
