A little bit about us

We’re looking for a part-time babysitter/nanny for our 2 children (5 yo boy in kindergarten and 3 yo girl in preschool) who can assist with early before-school transportation 2-3 rotating weekday mornings (so flexibility needed), as well as occasional babysitting on weekends and weekdays when the kids are home from school (e.g., school breaks/holidays/school closures). My husband and I both work in healthcare and have very early mornings, late nights and rotating schedules, and also work on holidays. My schedule changes by semester since I’m also in a full-time graduate program. Oftentimes, I need help with the kids while I am home studying/doing grad school work. An ideal babysitter/nanny would be experienced, very dependable, has strong communications skills, organized, nurturing, love children and also skilled at managing toddler/sibling conflict if it arises, is up for taking the kids outdoors in backyard or nearby playground, and is also engaging (e.g., doesn’t plop them in front of TV all day).

Weekday before-school transportation hours: can vary; either 6:30-7:30 am or 5:30-7:30 am. Arrive and help get children ready for school & then drive and drop them off at their respective schools. We’d provide the car seats. Ideally looking for a year commitment

Requirements:
-Strong experience with toddlers and young school-age children
-Fully COVID & flu vaccinated
-CPR & first aid certified (or willing to get certified)
-Reliable transportation, clean driving record
-Willing to do light household chores (i.e., meal prep/cooking, working w/ the kids to tidy up, dishwasher loading/emptying)
-References
-OK with cats (we have 1 cat)

A little bit about us

Looking for an easy going, caring nanny for our 2 kids. Our 4 year old Brielle runs the show and her 6 month old brother just watches her in amazement. Come the Fall I will be going back to school for finish my last year of undergrad and my boyfriend will be in the early stages of running his business and we need a extra set of hands. Responsibilities would include possible pick up and drop offs, no house keeping just picking up after yourself and the kids in the time of care. Providing snacks/lunch/dinner and keeping the kids entertained and safe. This will be the first time having anyone come into our home outside of family to care for the kids so it may take Brielle some getting use to.
