I've been around children my whole life. I have three younger sister that I took care of while my parents were at work or just out for a date night. When they were at home I also picked up other jobs from families we knew from my sisters schools, and from the ages 5-10 year old softball teams i would help coach. For many years my grandma had an in home day-care, and for a few of those years when I had time I would help her out. I honestly love it, I knew right off the back that my career would involve children. I plan on attending college and majoring in Elementary Edu, and getting a minor in Coaching, snce both of those are my true loves, due to finacial reason I am not able to attend college now or in the near future. Though I am looking for a job that will keep me around what I enjoy the most, Another thing I will include is all through high school I volunteered for our county's special olympics, when you volunteer they usually put you in groups to help run certain events that day or to be the buddy of a child. Well my senior year I was put with the director to help run everything, setting up of the games, making sure all the children where in the right place at the right time ect. I had the time of my life. and this has me almost changing my major to Special EDU. I'm a very active girl and spend most of my time outside or doing some sort of activity, whether it be going to a park with my dogs, or sitting inside baking or some sort of craft and your child will do the same. Since I'm planning on going to college to teach i do spend time with the children each day eiter teaching them or reviewing what they had learnt the school year before, just so they don't forget.

Since I was 12 I have been babysitting for a number of family's and I always really enjoyed it. During my sophmore and junior year of high school I began working at a moon walk place for kids to have birthday parties, called Big Air Party Zone. I then got a job nannying part time for a family of 5 (3 children-6mon./3yrs/4yrs.). I did this only through the summer and really enjoyed it. When I graduated from high school in 2008 I started working for a wonderful family of 4. I stayed with them for 2 years until I had to reloate due to college.

Hi, my name is Bre. I just graduated from North Georgia College and State University with a major in early education/special education. I am a Christian and I attend church. I have been babysitting since I was 13. I have several families that I have been their regular babysitter for many years now. I have watched children of all ages, from newborn and up. I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. I was old enough to help take care of my brothers and one of my sisters when they were newborns, so I have been helping with children since I was ten. In high school I worked in a preschool for two years. I just finished two years of student teaching in all elementary grades and special education classrooms. I am also willing to do basic things like straighten up around the house and cook simple meals. I am CPR and first aid certified. For more information about myself please send me a message or email me. Thank you!

I have cared for many children! I started out babysitting for my brother and sister then babysat around my neighborhood. I then got a job as a nanny job my first year in college and loved it! It was for two children starting ages were 5 and 7. I had a really great experience with this family and hope to find another one!

Myah was always on time, she cooked, picked the twins up, took them trick or treating, played with them a lot! She even helped with potty training my babies! Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Dahlonega, GA

Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.

Dahlonega Nanny Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a nanny?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
  • Are you open to a live in arrangement in Dahlonega? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
  • Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Dahlonega?
  • Do you have a driver’s license in GA? Do you own a car?
  • What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
  • What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
