I began my childcare experience by being a mother's helper at age twelve. I then proceeded to baby-sit and became a high demand neighborhood favorite. I’ve babysat for my physician and professor’s children. I’m currently a graduate student pursing a M.Ed. in school counseling. My internship is at a Bedford elementary school, but will be completed in May. I have worked with children as a substitute teacher along with being an intern program instructor at a local non-profit summer camp. I am CPR/First Aid certified.

I have had many years of experience with children! I am the oldest of 6, with an age span of 10 years with all but one. Over the summer and my freshman year of college I was a part time nanny for 2 sets of two-year-old twins a family ages 1 and 3, and a 4 month old (all separately of course, but they kept me busy!) as well as occasionally babysitting for other families on the side. The beginning of my sophomore year I worked in a day care working with newborns, 1 & 2 yr olds. Last semester I watched a family with a 3 month old, 3 year old and 7 year old and another family with a 14 month old. I was also a part time nanny for 3-year-old twins as well as another family with 14-month-old twins and a 4 year old. I was recently a live-in nanny for an 8 month old, 3 year old and 7 year old. Most recently twins from 3 months-10 months. I also have experience with preemie triplets. I LOVE babies! I have taken the Red Cross Babysitting Course and CPR course, although I have not yet renewed my certification- I still know what to do! But I am also willing to renew my certification if needed. Although I have many references, due to transferring to different schools, I am extremely confident that I will be highly recommended by each one. I am VERY reliable; I have my own car (and a clean driving record) and I am good at managing my time wisely! I have also been finger printed and cleared as I worked in some pre schools in Florida.

I am a new mother since May 2010. I also have a very large family with many children that I have watched throughout the course of their lives. I have had temporary and permanent positions doing so including after school work, when i went to school and summer jobs.
