In high school I was the nursery leader for our church. I was the one who was in charge of finding someone to watch the children (most of the time it was me)and coming up with games and activities for the children. I've been a baby sitter since I was 13 for all the families in my church. In the summer during high school I was nanny for two of my cousins in Indianapolis while my aunt and uncle worked and went to school. I made sure that the boys were taken care of and that they had fun. I'd take them to museums, fairs, parks, the pool, movies and many other places that allowed them to use their imaginations and develope and become who they are. After high school I had a nanny job in New Jersey for 3 children, 2 boys and a girl, all under the age of 5. The middle child (the little girl) had CF and so I have had experience with disabled children. While there, it was my job to take the oldest to school, get the other 2 up and dressed and take the little girl to physical and occupational therapy. I cooked, got the kids dressed and ready for the day, and whatever the kids needed I made sure that they had it. While I lived in Kansas (for 2 1/2 years), I was the go-to baby sitter for my aunts and uncles and my brothers. While there I had been the au pair to a family with 3 teenagers. Whenever the parents had to go somewhere overnight or on vacation I'm the one that they would call to come over and make sure that the girls had everything they needed and they were taken to the places they needed to be taken to (school functions, games, groups, etc.). Also, since I have moved away from there they have called me to stay with the girls while the parents went on their honeymoon. I am currently in a nanny position that I have had in Texas since the January 1, 2012. My contract will be ending on June 15, 2013. While here my job is to get the children ready for school, make their lunches, feed them breakfast, walk them to and from school, make sure homework is finsihed in a timely manner, teach teach them how to clean up after themselves, supervise them in their chores, do laundry, if they are sick I make sure that they are comfortable and if it gets to be too much it is my job to call the parents and inform them and if necessasary take them to the doctor. I am nanny to two children a boy and a girl whom are both school age.

I have worked with children for 10+ years between various babysitting and daycare jobs. I worked for a private school with ages 18 months to 5 years in a fun and friendly learning environment. I have 30+ hours of continuing education which include CPR and first aide. I have gone to workshops and seminars on subjects from how to put a car seat in correctly to shaking baby syndrome and much more. I taught music and basic spanish as well as bible classes and fundemental learning. For almost a year I was a nanny for a wonderful family with a little girl. I also worked at a private school in the infant room ages ranging 6 weeks to 18 months, which I loved. I am currently a stay at home mom to a sweet 5 year old girl and looking to get back in to child care for the flexible hours and option to bring along my daughter.

I began babysitting at the young age of 12. I was always a very responsible child and loved looking after younger kids. I babysat from 12-16. At the age of 16 I became a nanny for a large family with a disabled child. This experience was so rewarding for me. During this time, I not only tended to the children, but I cooked, ran errands, and did house cleaning as well. I ended up working for that family for 3.5 years. After I graduated high school and moved from junior college to University, I moved cities where I began to nanny full-time for another large family with 3 kiddos (ages ranged from 3yrs-14yrs). Again, I not only tended to the kids, but also served as a personal assistant to the parents as well. I traveled with, ran errands for, and cooked for this family as well. I ended up staying with this family for over 6 years! I grew very close with the family and even stayed with them after I graduated college for awhile. I got married recently which is what brought me to the Houston area. I love kids and would love to work with your family. I currently have a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Psychology, and I am working toward becoming a child-life specialist.

I have been a nanny for two wonderful families with amazing children--enjoying every second of it! I have worked with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. Both families I nannied for had me transport the children to and from school (and any activities) , help them complete homework and chores, tutor them in subjects they were not as strong in, and spend time completing activities that were both fun and enriching for the children. I worked closely with the parents to ensure the children were happy, healthy, and progressing. I feel comfortable caring for, tutoring, and spending time with children of all ages. I look forward to my next nannying experience!

I've been caring for children for over 20 years. I started babysitting my brother and his friends. That turned into helping in the nursery at church and eventually being employed by three different churches in their childcare department. I currently work with two years olds at a church in xx. I've also worked for a preschool and in private homes. I have cared for children from birth to 17.
