My name is Aaliyah Barnette. I am a sophomore in high school and currently work at a local Wendy’s. I recently completed Culinary 2, which qualifies me to run a kitchen, and I earned my food-handling certification during Culinary 1 last year. I decided to babysit because I enjoy working with kids and understand routines and schedules, since I wasn’t a kid too long ago myself. If I become fully booked, I plan to leave my job at Wendy’s due to an uncomfortable work environment and return to something I feel safe doing and truly enjoy. I have experience babysitting younger cousins, family friends’ children, and my 8-year-old nephew. I am comfortable cleaning throughout the day and before leaving, and I can also help children with homework and schoolwork.
