Hey there! My name is Abbey and I am currently a senior UCSB. As the oldest child in my family, I have been helping out with the caretaking of my younger siblings and cousins my whole life! I have experience with toddlers and young elementary age children as I babysit all throughout high school and volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club in my hometown. Also, I am currently pursuing a degree in teaching and education so I am passionate about working with kids and have firsthand experience teaching second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students! I love being outside and getting active so I would love to play sports and introduce more fun ways to get outdoors to kids! I would consider myself a patient and empathetic person and I am a good listener which I feel makes me a great caregiver because I always like to lend a hand to those around me.
