In Mindful Mentors I worked with other students creating activities and volunteering at Goleta elementary schools to teach children about mindfulness and mental health in activities they could understand. With this creating layout plans, designing games, and reading to the children was done.

I enjoy finding/providing arts and crafts material to create projects, I also prioritize reading with children. I enjoy walks with children capable of stroller walks or side-by-side walks in familiar enviorments.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with a 6 year old level one autistic medically diagnosed child. I cared for this child through ages 4-6 and found to learn his habits and liking to make a sitting experience as comfortable as possible for the child and parents. I am extremely patient with child and very understanding of different perosnailities .
