Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mom ran a daycare from our house since I was 3 years old so I grew up being around children constantly. Eventually I would help her with craft activities, baking, reading, etc. Then in middle school I started babysitting for neighbors and family friends all the way until I left for college in Aug 2021.

I love coloring, playing outside, baking, and singing with children. I also love to let them decide what the activity for the day is, it helps me learn a lot about them.

The most important thing about being a nanny is wanting to work with kids. If you don't want to work with kids, it's not fun for either of you!

I was a peer facilitator in high school so I have experience with adults with special needs and I'm going to school to become a Special Education Teacher.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is after a long day of playing outside and we are relaxing on the couch and they fall asleep in my arms. It melts my heart!
