An important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family. Communication is key—I keep parents updated on their child’s progress and any significant moments or concerns. It’s also essential to create a balance between fun activities and structured learning to support the child’s development. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment from a previous childcare experience was when I saw a child’s face light up after finally mastering a challenging math concept. We had been working through it together with hands-on examples and fun math games, and seeing that spark of understanding and confidence was incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind me of the impact I can have in helping children grow, learn, and believe in their own abilities.
