Honestly, I think the most important part is listening to the child. It is also just as important to follow the parent’s rules for their children and enforce the rules while under my supervision. I believe I am more than capable of making sure the child feels heard while also respecting the parent's wishes.

Just watching them smile when you do something silly or tell them a funny joke. It makes my heart happy to see the pure joy they experience at the small stuff.
