I have helped organize and run sport camps, was a teacher for kids 5-9 at church camps, and a counselor for older kids at summer camps.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love staying active with kids, making sure there's always fun things to do. Outdoors, we can go to the library, playgrounds, hikes, picnics, and the pool. If we want to stay indoors, I love playing board games, coloring, reading, baking, and for a special day, having the kids pick a movie to watch later then making food and creating activities that go with the theme of the movie.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite jobs I've done, was with two brothers, one in kindergarten and one in 4th grade. They had a fort they were building in their woods outside and were surprised when I said I would love to go out and join them to see it! We proceeded to find buckets of leaves to fill in the gaps in their fort, and break fallen branches to use in their walls. It was a great time I enjoyed the special time I got to spend with them and help with their fort.
