A little bit about me

I'm a 23-year-old who genuinely loves working with kids, especially little ones under 5. I've babysat through a placement agency and worked as a live-in nanny, so I'm comfortable managing routines, staying calm under pressure, and keeping things fun and structured.

Infants and toddlers are my favorite age group. I'm patient with feeding and naptime routines, and just as happy on the floor for imaginative play as I am handling diaper changes and bedtime.

I'm based in the Twin Cities and starting the Orthotics and Prosthetics program at Century College, so I bring a caretaking mindset that goes beyond babysitting. I'm reliable, communicative with parents, and treat every family's routines as the standard I follow.

Looking forward to meeting your little ones!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were: working at a daycare center, where I helped care for groups of infants and toddlers in a structured, routine-driven setting; date night babysitting for individual families, often on short notice, which built my flexibility and comfort stepping into new households; a live-in nanny position, where I was responsible for full-day care, meals, and daily routines for young children; and au pair work, which gave me experience integrating into a family's day-to-day life and adapting to their specific parenting style and expectations. Across all of these, I've worked most closely with infants and children under 5, handling everything from feeding and naptime schedules to imaginative play and bedtime routines.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love integrating time in the outdoors into a schedule with the children. Taking a walk or going on a bike ride introduces the children to their community and the beauty that surrounds them everyday. The outdoors provides many opportunities for kids to learn while removing the option of screen-time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is ensuring that every child is heard and appreciated for who they are, while allowing them to grow and learn at their own pace. A successful nanny will recognize these traits and individualize their care and lessons to each child.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children mostly comes from my current work at an orthotics and prosthetics clinic, where a large part of our patient base is children with special needs who require orthotics. I regularly interact with kids across a wide range of physical and developmental needs, helping them feel comfortable during appointments and fittings. That's made me attentive to each child's individual cues and comfort level, and adaptable rather than one-size-fits-all. I'm always willing to learn more about a specific child's needs ahead of time to make sure they get the most attentive, specialized care possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a previous job where I walked twin boys to school every morning. The mornings were very monotonous, so we would create stories and adventures that we would take on our path to school every morning. This allowed the kids to get energized before school, and gave me many chances to teach them about the neighborhood they lived in while integrating quick lessons about safety, weather, and the limitless abilities of their imagination.
