Hi there! My name is Abby! I've been described as creative, funny, and a ball of sunshine! I love kids, I want to be a teacher some day! I have worked as a nanny full time for the past seven months, and watching him grow up has been a treat. I was very sad to move. I am the oldest of 6, and I love my siblings very much. I've watched over them our whole lives and I have experience with looking after children in after school activities as well. I also have experience as a teacher at a privately run Pre-K. I was a lead teacher at a church-run Preschool until I had my daughter in 2025. Now I stay at home with her. :)

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I nannied an infant full time for seven months before I moved back here. I also have 5 younger siblings and I've been taking care of them since I was old enough to babysit! I also did work with elementary and middle school children in high school with theatre. I directed a musical for the schools in the district who no longer have music programs. I also have worked at a privately run Pre-K. I am was a lead teacher at a Preschool, until I had my own daughter. So now I have the experience of a mother and care for children like they are my own, how I would want someone to take care of my daughter.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to hang out with kids. They're so bright and intelligent, all in their own ways. With my own siblings, even the little infant, I like to read to them, sing to them, and watch movies with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being kind and having a big heart. Making people laugh is one of my favorite things to do, and I think that's important too. But most importantly, taking care of every child how I would want my little girl taken care of.
