I'm a former chef, and an avid reader and lifelong learner. I am deeply interested in child development, art, and the natural world.

I am a current infant nanny with experience caring for multiple infants and seeking a family with another infant near the same age as my daughter, so that I could have her with me some days while providing childcare (currently less than 10% of the time, but will likely increase some time next year). She is 7 months old and is a "unicorn baby": happy, adaptable, and calm. Maintaining a routine that works for you is important to me. I never want to leave you with an overstimulated, understimulated, or overtired baby at the end of the day as I understand the whole experience of caring for an infant!

My favorite actuvities are hiking/walking in our beautiful California parks, as well as reading, singing, and having conversations (even when they're one-sided). As a caregiver, I prioritize building connection, facilitating developmentally appropriate play, and providing responsive care based on nonverbal cues. I prefer to be screen-free and embrace outdoor and sensory play. I like providing comfort and exploration through water, air, movement, and interaction. I have taken two ASL classes, and employ that when caring for babies to allow them to communicate sooner. I also love all aspects of feeding and exploring new favorite foods, and being a part of a new mind's discovery of what's great about the world!
