A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Abby! I have been looking after kids of all ages since I was 13 years old! I am now 20 years old and I am a junior at Northern Arizona University studying Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology! I love working with kids and I am always looking forward to making homework time a high priority while making learning fun! I believe that outdoor time is vital in a child's life. Teaching kids that they can be anything they want to be is something that I love to do because it gives them the motivation to work hard for what they want. I am double vaccinated with a booster shot against COVID-19. I have been CPR certified as well as first aid certified in the past and they recently expired so I will be getting re-certified. I am looking for a job in the fall and spring semester starting mid- late august of 2022 when I come back to flagstaff for school. I have a wide availability as I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday every week.

I have been a babysitter/ nanny for the past 7 years for multiple families and I have worked in classrooms with students of all ages!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts with kids to show them how creative they are and maybe they can even find a talent they didn't know they had! I also love to teach as a future educator, so I am able to teach pre-school to elementary! I love having fun outdoors with kids and being able to show them how much fun they can have without technology!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is keeping the kids safe and healthy with an effective schedule including playtime, homework time, exercise outside, and snack/meal time!

I was president of the special needs club in high school and I loved interacting with the students!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I had to end my job with a family last summer and the kids would not let me leave because they wanted me to stay with them. I will be going back this summer to see them!
