A little bit about me

Hello, I'm new to the childcare world! I love being a positive role model for children and teaching children everything from manners to communication whether that is through basic sign language or English. I am not opposed to cleaning up as messes are made and can do light housework if needed. I am a certified childcare worker from the DCYF, as well as CPR and first aid certified. I am accepting of any child, that includes children with down syndrome, ADHD, and any developmental issues big and small. I can accommodate for restricted diets and medication requirements. My care style is all about positivity, if I interact with a child, either to discipline them or play with them I stay positive, I find importance in teaching consent, manners, calming techniques, and empowerment. I am very calm, patient, strict but fun, and very caring. I do not have a license yet, I am still practicing, I do take the bus and walk everywhere. I look forward to being part of your child's care.
