Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteer at my church on Sundays in the nursery & preschool, as well as I have a part-time job there watching infants/preschool/school-agers while they're parents are at small groups! I currently lead a group of K-2 Tuesday nights at my church, and have been doing that for the past 5 years! I've been baby-sitting for many different families for the past 6 years!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
With some of the previous children I've babysat for we've done crafts, baked, played with Chalk, played with indoor & outdoor toys, built forts, played games, gone to the park, etc. I'm very open to do whatever the kids want as long as it's okay with the parents! I can also accommodate to different ages of children when doing an activity to make sure that it's fun for all!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me about being a nanny/babysitter is making sure that the children are safe and having fun at all times! I understand that a lot of children have a hard time warming up to somebody new and that's totally understandable! But I do my best to make sure that they feel safe and cared for!
