Hi parents!! My name is Abby I am a 20 year old online student studying Psychology in hopes to become an adolescent therapist! I have been working with children for 6 years now in a variety of ways starting as an occasional date night babysitter, to a private nanny, and I’m currently working at a daycare in the infant room. Leaving my daycare is a hard decision because I love all my little kiddos but I have learned that daycare work is not the environment for me. I feel like I am not able to give each kid the amount of love and attention they deserve which led me back to nannying! I am cpr/first aid certified and I received basic child development training through SDSU. I love to do little art projects with the littles, they love doing them, it keeps them busy, helps their development, and gives parents something to hang on the fridge! I also enjoy taking the kiddos outside, to the park/pool, and other outings! Busy kids=happy kids!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’m a firm believer a good nanny integrates into the family. The most important thing to me is having a close relationship with not only my nanny kids but the entire family! Often times with childcare the nannies/babysitters do the bare minimum but it’s very important to me that I’m going above and beyond and giving your kids the care they deserve just like they would if they were in the care of their parents!
