My responsibilities included school and activity pick-ups and drop-offs, coordinating playdates, preparing dinners, and providing evening care such as bathing and bedtime routines. I also supported children with homework and was trusted to stay late when needed, ensuring a consistent, safe, and supportive environment.

I really enjoy spending time with kids in fun, engaging ways that support their creativity and development. I love taking children to the park to play and explore, as well as creating imaginative games that keep them active and entertained. I also enjoy reading with them and encouraging a love of stories, learning, and using their imagination in everyday play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, one of the most important parts of being a nanny is building a relationship where a child feels safe, supported, and able to trust you. I value being someone they can confide in in addition to their parents, offering comfort, guidance, and consistency in their daily lives. I also see it as a privilege to help create positive core memories and to build a meaningful, lasting bond that contributes to their growth and happiness.

I also have experience caring for children with special needs, including a child with sensory processing disorder. This role required a high level of patience, empathy, and adaptability, as his emotions could be unpredictable and maintaining focus was sometimes challenging. I learned how to create a calm, supportive environment and respond thoughtfully to his individual needs, helping him feel safe and understood.
