The most important part about being a nanny...
The understanding that I’m responsible for someone’s children for the time being. That can be that cooking for them, engaging them in activities, making sure they are 100% safe 100% of the time, bathing them, putting them to bed, and so much more. When I’m being a nanny it’s treating those kids as if they were my own. :)

I’ve had a couple of cousins I’ve taken care of and my childhood best friend is special needs so I’m very familiar with taking care of special needs children. :)
