A little bit about me

I’m Addie McNeely and I come from a loving family. My father and late mother raised me and my two brothers on love and strong faith in God. Growing up I was involved heavily in basketball and other sports which allowed me to develop a different set of life skills and understanding. I have always loved children since I was just a child. My very first babysitting gig was my pastors son. I began taking care of him when I was just 10 years old, and continued until I was about 16. Then I began working in a church (not my home church) and I was over the youth ministry. These kids were typically ages 2-4. I did extremely well and even helped one kid improve with his behavior, as his mother continued to complain about her child being a “bad boy.” In college I was also the secondary care giver for over 3 years of a good friend of mine’s children. She had two boys. At the time they were 4 and 5 and I fell absolutely in love with them. Kids are the future, and must be protected and nurtured.
