The most important part about being a nanny...
The absolute most important part of any childcare to me is forming a bond with my kids. I love children more than anything and fostering a special connection with them is so important to me as it helps make them feel more safe, comfortable, and valued.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked at Sea Pines Montessori for several months as a camp counselor. Roughly 80% of my campers had some type of special needs. I do not have any experience with PHYSICAL special needs, but do have experience with mental difficulties and how to go about handling that.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my girl's had cotton "snowballs" that came in a giant container. I will never forget her and her brother ambushing me and causing a massive snowball fight. The laughing and giggling truly felt like something out of a movie and was immediately a core memory for me!
