After babysitting for a family for around 3 weeks I had to take a week off for family matters. The two children were adjusting to me, and I was still having the moments where the youngest would cry after seeing her mom leave.
Once I cam back though, they excitedly ran out of the door calling my name and hugged me. My heart melted. That day the youngest plainly said "bye mom" and then pulled me into the living room to play dolls. The mom and I shared eye contact and laughed and her drastic change in attitude (of course she asked later when her mom was coming back).
