More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took education in high school which gave me the oppertunity to work with 5 different teachers who worked in different age groups. Ive also taken a carrer practicum class, which allowed me to be a teachers assistant for an entire cycle for my senior year.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing hands-on activities with kids, especially ones that spark curiosity. As a future STEM major, I enjoy sharing my passion for science and helping children explore the wonders of the world around them. I also enjoy artistic projects, since they’re a fun way to connect and bond on a more personal level. Most of all, I love spending time outdoors with kids. Growing up in Alaska, much of my childhood was spent outside, and it’s still my favorite way to play, explore, and create meaningful experiences together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a babysitter or nanny is maintaining clear and consistent communication with parents. It’s vital that we understand each other’s expectations and work together to do what’s best for the children. When parents and caregivers are on the same page, it creates a stable, comfortable environment where kids can thrive.
Consistency helps children feel secure—they know what to expect, which builds trust and reduces confusion or frustration. Clear communication also ensures that routines, rules, and boundaries are reinforced in the same way at home, making the caregiving experience smoother and more positive for everyone involved. My goal is always to support parents while providing care that aligns with their values and expectations.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with kids with IEPs and 504s in educational settings, but I have not worked with a child with special needs one-on-one at home.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a babysitter or nanny is the moment I realize I’ve truly bonded with the kids I’m caring for. That they’re excited for me to come by and feel comfortable with me. A memory that stands out most is when a mother I worked for called me late one evening. Her daughter had a nightmare and specifically asked to talk to me. My heart melted as I reassured her over the phone for a few minutes until she felt calm enough to go back to sleep. Moments like that remind me how meaningful it is to build trust and connection with children.
