I volunteered at Avaani Foundation, a nonprofit organization that strives to create a friendly environment for children with special needs. Additionally, I am working as a paraprofessional for South San Francisco Unified School District to assist children with special needs. We help to support improvement in their academics in subjects like Math, English, crafts, and social behaviors. With 8-16 students accommodated per class, in some cases, I assist my students with changing diapers and pushing their wheelchairs.
