Hi, my name is Aiyanna! I am a first year college student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying Interdisciplinary Health Science on the pre-med track. Over the last two summers I worked I worked full-time (8 hours a day, Monday through Friday) with children ages 5-10. I am very eager to potentially have another opportunity to work with kids, where I can bring my experience and enthusiasm to help create a positive and engaging environment. I've had the opportunity to work with kids over the past years, both as a summer camp counselor and as a babysitter during the school year. As a camp counselor, I enjoyed organizing fun activities, helping kids build confidence, and creating a positive environment for them to learn and grow. Babysitting allowed me to develop strong skills in managing routines, keeping children engaged, and handling responsibilities independently. These experiences have taught me patience, communication, and the ability to connect with kids of all ages.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A memorable moment shared with the kids and I, is our end-of-the-summer dance party. The excitement had been building up all week. We were all truly looking forward to this moment. During the duration of the party, watching them have so much fun and being a part of those joyful memories was truly special. It was the perfect way to end an unforgettable summer together.
