As the second oldest of 8 kids I definitely got some early exposure to child care, and was lucky enough to discover it was my passion!! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to nanny part time for a family friend, I took care of 5 of her children (aged 5 months-8 years) for about 6-9 hours, 4 days a week! And since then, I have worked as a early childhood educator, working with children 3 months up to 10 years old!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts, dance parties, playing outdoors, and cooking!! Whatever a kid has an interest in, I’m always happy to tailor our activities to!

My experience with special needs children...

At my previous teaching position, I was the primary teacher for a class of children aged 2-5, each one of them having either Autism, HoH/Deaf, Disruptive Mood Disorder, or similar developmental disorders. I also have a young brother who is autistic with high support needs, and I was his primary caretaker for the past few years as my mother was working!
