A little bit about me

I am Early Childhood Educator that has worked in Reggio Emilia inspired schools. I have learned to slow down and observe the children in order to be invited into their daily life. Based on the analysis of my observations I create installations out of materials and lights sources, many times using fabrics or other natural elements. These learning environments are created with the purpose of the children to have experiences within them and enables the child to make connections. Each connection reinforcing the next as the child learns and develops language, ideas and expressions. Being a part of this ongoing investigation is a great responsibility and honor. The languages of expression should be visible all throughout the space where a child resides. Graphic Art, Nature, Composition, Corporal and Facial, and Construction are some of the hundreds of ways that a child can express themselves.
