I worked with children in 2023 at a summer camp. I was one of two of the counselors. I volunteer with reading to the kids at the school across from mine as well teach the special needs students, Spanish, in my school.

I enjoy outdoor and indoor activities. Getting dirty isn’t always fun but it’s manageable. I enjoy teaching and being just a presence even if that’s all I can be.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe that the most important part about being a nanny is caring for the emotional needs for the children rather than what is expected of them. Kids are to be kids and have fun with the time that they have before they hit the world where they have to worry about what job they will get if they go to college or not. Stress is not needed and children should be able to have an emotional connection with their caregiver. A child’s well being is what’s most important.
My experience with special needs children...
I volunteer at my school to teach Spanish to the special needs class. They enjoy it a lot but I wish to do it more often to help with my speaking skills.
