A little bit about me

My name is Alex and I'm 28 years old. From a young age, I was passionate about working with children, so l began babysitting and summer-nannying during high school. After graduation, I attended Colorado State University with the intention of majoring in Early Childhood Education. I quickly realized I enjoyed working with children on a smaller, more individualized scale. I switched my focus to Biology for a couple of years before deciding to enlist in the Colorado Army National Guard, where I served for 6 years as a Combat Medic. After my Army training, I returned to my love of working with children full-time as a nanny. I've now been a professional career nanny for 8 years, and I'm incredibly passionate about enriching the lives of the children I care for. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages, traveling with families, providing overnight care and managing a household. I have obtained EMT-level training and am also a Certified Advanced Newborn Care Specialist.
