Being transgender, it’s hard to find jobs that are accepting and understanding. Who I am doesn’t interfere with my job, and many employers fail to recognize that. But kids are raw, genuine, and honest. They accept you at first glance. I love working with kids because I am and always will be a child at heart. I love music. Arts and crafts are my favorite. I have played basketball, tennis, track, and soccer growing up so I’m athletic. I feel that I can relate to a lot of children.
