Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When indoors I enjoy doing the kids like. Some kids are very technology attached. So I try to involve myself in the type of things they do with technology. Maybe they watch a show abt dinosaurs? So I would try to play dinosaurs in real life if they are interested. Listening to music, drawing, playing barbies, watching movies, anything they find fun! Outdoors I like going to the pool or the park. Keeps the kids entertained for hours on end!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I find it important to follow the kids typical routine and respect the parents boundaries for their children. (Bedtime, what they eat, etc) The kids should also be happy! But of course sometimes kids get grumpy. So i believe it’s important to know how to get each kid out of their own funk as well as give them positivity! Another major key in being a nanny is paying attention. Accidents are prevented by an alert and aware nanny! By paying attention you not only make the kids feel heard and comfortable, but keep them safe.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The three year old a watched for a few months had the biggest personality. He was always asking questions and very engaged in everything he did. My favorite part was honestly just seeing him laugh and be happy throughout the days. He is a very sweet boy and extremely intelligent too! When you get to see kids learn or be apart of what they are learning I think it’s beautiful. Weather you answer their endless questions or redirect their tantrum, kids are amazing.
