I have been blessed with many opportunities to work with children! I have worked as an Assistant Teacher in a day care, a Behavior Technician providing ABA therapy to children with Autism, I have worked in clinical settings with children throughout my BSW education, and I have worked with children and provided childcare in-home.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging with children in meaningful activities! I have participated in a class called Project Impact where you learn how to follow a child's lead with play. I believe children learn best through play so it is so important to me to create opportunities for them to engage in both physical and/or mental activities such as various exercises, crafts, reading, etc.

My experience with special needs children...

I have excellent experience working with special needs children! My mom was a special education teacher and I would often volunteer in her classroom so I have always been familiarized with individuals with special needs. I also worked as a Behavior Technician providing ABA therapy to children with Autism which I absolutely loved!
