A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Alexis and I am looking for a part time nanny/childcare job on the side! I currently am a permanent substitute for a middle school during the school year and I am looking to pick up some nannying jobs for after school as well. I am also in school right now for Early Childhood Education to become a teacher! I recently just got married in June but no kids of my own yet! My passion and love for kids has grown from being the oldest of 5 siblings and 5 siblings-in law. If anyone is interested let me know! My job as a sub is from Monday-Friday 8am-3pm so anytime after that I can do! I’m good with carpooling, homework, cooking, housekeeping, activities, errands, etc.

The most important part of nannying is being there no matter what for the children. Being the respectful, encouraging, and that dependent person for them. Helping them with their day to day tasks and getting to engage in creative ways with them. Loving them just as much as caring for them.

My favorite nanny moment was when I got to be there for a little ones first steps. I got to experience that special moment with his parents. I love when the kids finally get things and their imagination runs wild. When they tell me about the dreams they have when napping and get excited over the little things.
