A little bit about me

I love babies! I have nursing school experience up to the senior 1 (completed) level. I've spent a lot of time volunteering in old folk homes, interning at a doctor's office under the direction of NP students, and I helped care for babies in both the NICU and the pediatric ward at McLeod during my senior 1 semester.

I'm also a child at heart so doting on them is kind of my specialty. I am BLS certified and have experience in total home care. And I am sometimes the only person you'll find who still does what they do (playing games and such) so I pride myself on being able to understand what they are saying as well!

I’m pretty much down with everything. I even watch kid cartoons (because I am still a kid at heart, in my bio)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Loving the kids. They are genuine and that’s why I went from patient care taking to nannying. These guys make the job worth working for, both of us get so attached to one another. It’s always hard when a job ends to actually leave.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had several 1 to 1 patients via my care job to at have had cerebral palsy. As a result, this particular special need is my specialty.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I’m feeding babies and for some reason food ends up on their face and I’m not sure how it gets there. One baby had oatmeal on top of her eye and she had not yet touched the spoon I was holding since I last looked. She pulled a Houdini!
