A little bit about me

Hi I’m Alexis! I have always been very passionate about children. I grew up in a big family with five children, I am number two, so I have always helped my parents with my younger siblings. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old.
I moved to Kearney to attend UNK in 2016. After living here I have been a nanny for two families and have babysat for many people. Along with babysitting I also have experience in the schools. I worked with KCLC (an after school program with KPS) for five years. And I now work as a para with KPS. With that, I am CPR and first-aid trained. I have always loved working with children and I cannot wait to meet you and your children!!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at Headstart in Kearney for a year. After, I worked at KCLC, an after school program with KPS, for five years. I also was a para at an Elementary school here in Kearney. I’m the six years I have been in Kearney I have been a nanny for two families and babysat for many people!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outdoors. I like going to parks or the pool. I also enjoy playing board games and fun educational games.

My experience with special needs children...

While working as a para, I was in the special education department for a year!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite memory so far was taking the kiddos to the apple orchard in Kearney. We all had a blast. It’s something I will never forget!
