The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong bond with the children and becoming someone they feel safe, comfortable, and happy around. I love teaching kids new things, watching them learn and grow, and seeing their excitement when they try something new for the first time. Making them laugh, creating fun memories, and becoming a trusted part of the family is what makes nannying so rewarding to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was creating a backyard scavenger hunt for the kids I cared for. We spent the afternoon solving clues, dancing to music, and ending the day by making a homemade healthy summer treat together with fresh fruit and yogurt. We also practiced positive daily affirmations, and seeing how excited, confident, and proud they felt afterward reminded me how rewarding it is to create fun, meaningful memories with children.
