The most important part about being a nanny...

I know the most important thing about being a nanny is to make sure not only the kids are cared for, but the parents as well. You have to be patient with them and understand that they need time alone sometimes. Not because they want to get away from their kids, but to be able to step out of their shoes and breathe. To feel young again and go out with friends or loved ones. I like to make others happy, so if that involves caring for their little creations then I’ll be the one for that family. I like for them to have fun but also be able to take time for themselves as adults and be able to go out on dates. To enjoy life. Less stress.

My experience with special needs children...

I’m not going to lie. I’ve had very little experience. I’ve only volunteered a couple of times. I believe each child is different and not everyone can understand the needs of a child with special needs. I would do my best to make sure they are cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

They would say silly things or even cute things. This one time a little girl I watched stood in the toilet waving a stick saying “ Wingardium Leviosa” trying to lift herself out of the toilet. She really loved Harry Potter.
