Is attentiveness. The more you care and the more childlike wonder one has can make a huge difference in working with children. I also believe it’s important to encourage independence as it fosters confidence in a child. (Within developmentally appropriate bounds.)

The most important part about being a nanny...
Every moment can be fun and special when working with kids! Personally I enjoy the more “mundane” moments of childcare. Watching a little one go from learning to roll to crawling up a storm. Washing cute little hands after painting pictures or eating a meal. The delight on a child face when they are proud of themselves for completing a task or learning something new.
