Being there for the children first and foremost. Availability for the parents is important but as a nanny, you are an outlet for the child. Another positive influence their life. You will be a lasting impression on a very influential time in their development. That is extremely delicate and should be held with the utmost respect. Children are dependent on the adults in their lives and a safe environment filled with people holding their best interests at heart is what any parent would want for their kids.
