A little bit about us

I am an OB/Gyn resident physician and my husband is a firefighter and poet/Creative Writing professor. We had our first baby, a boy, in late March! We are looking for a full- or part-time childcare provider(s) starting in late May. We are especially in need of someone who can do some early mornings (5:30-6 a.m. until around 8 AM) and later evenings (6 PM-8:30 PM) 2-3 times a week. Ideally, our childcare provider(s) would occasionally be able to spend the night if we are both scheduled to work overnight shifts, and cover some weekend days. We usually have our schedules several weeks to months in advance to help with planning.

We live in a 2 bedroom/2 bath house in Nob Hill, near a large park and and a public library branch. We have 1 well-behaved adult cat. It's a plus if our childcare provider speaks Spanish.

A little bit about us

Hello, my husband and I are looking for part-time nanny who would be available early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. We both work in healthcare, so we have varied work schedules. We are looking for assistance with our two boys, Milo is 2 and Finn just turned 1. We often need help in the early mornings to help get them to daycare so typically 6am-8am, and occasional afternoons to pick them up from daycare, help get them fed and occasional bedtimes. 4pm-630/7. We work occasional weekends so those days would be more extended hours 630-4pm but that also may vary. We also are always looking for someone for occasional date nights! We understand our schedule is complicated and we tend to ask for help a lot of times last minute. Looking for someone or a few people that are flexible. Our house is chaotic; we have the two young children and two dogs. Overall, we are pretty easy going, on the weekends we love for the kids to get outside for adventures whether that's to go to the park, go on little hikes, the zoo, Explora, the natural history museum etc.

A little bit about us

We need a mature, reliable caring fun-loving caregiver with ample experience caring for toddler/preschool aged children who can work Thursday afternoons and occasionally an early morning and weekend hours for our daughter Violet who is 3 and a half. We have a nanny for her but need some fill-in care when her nanny is not available on Thursdays, some mornings intermittently and some weekend hours occasionally She is sweet and inquisitive, very smart and very playful. She is a unique, empathetic soul and can have big feelings she needs help with from time to time. She also needs loving but firm boundaries held in regards to excessive sweet snacks, screen time allowed, and cooperating with self care before school so we can get to preschool on time. She does best with familiar routines and early notice about upcoming transitions between locations or activities. Allowing her limited (2-3) choices is helpful (none or too many are counterproductive). No health issues. We do try to keep to an unprocessed or minimally processed food diet in our household. In the afternoons we would like her to have activities to do such as going to the park (if it isn’t too hot), play dates, going to gymnastics class, etc. She may need supper preparation in the early evenings. On the occasional early mornings 6:30 am she needs wake up by 7 am, breakfast prep, lunch packed, and readying for school, drop off between 8 am and 8:40 am. On weekends she would need fun activities involving active play or outings, play dates. Responsibilities would include light housekeeping in regards to child’s areas (backyard, bedroom, playroom), kitchen clean up after meal prep for her, her laundry as needed.
We have two dogs in the home. They are big but sweet. One cat in home, no care needed. Dogs have doggy door so they don’t need walks, but checking and filling their water would be appreciated.

A little bit about us

I'm a single mom and travel a lot for work. My daughter usually stays with her dad when I'm out of town but his cognitive abilities are declining and I need to find an alternative arrangement. I just need a responsible adult at the house that can make sure she gets to the school bus on time and gets to bed at a reasonable hour.
