A little bit about me

I am mother of two children who are now grown. when my kids were little I enjoyed doing in home daycare as well as working as a nanny. It allowed me to provide the care for my children I wanted them to have, while at the same time enjoying my time with the other wonderful children I cared for. I've always loved kids of all ages. I'm always a favorite of my friends kids. I take pride in being a very fun, happy loving, compassionate, caring, understanding, intuitive & empathic person. I have a way of communicating with children that makes learning easy to understand, fun and interesting. There happiness is important to me. Creating experiences, interactions that provide enrichment, greater understanding & broaden interest in learning and growing is something I take pride in & my skills reflect. I believe if a baby or child is unhappy I want to understand & resolve it no matter how small. Babies & kids get excited when they see me. That's how you know they are loved and well cared for.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

When my children were young it was important to me that I was able to be the one to provide their care. I did daycare care in my home, worked as a nanny and in a couple day cares with my child also in my care. They are 7 yrs apart so I only had one with me. They are young adults now. I have worked as a small business owner managing STR properties (Short Term Rental). I contract the work out so basically I have all my time free pretty much, other then an occasional call or admin work in the evening. I really miss working with children and just being around them. Its been a long time since i have worked in childcare but I sure do miss it. I'm hoping to connect with a family who I can bless with my love for kids and who in turn bless my life with the joy of being able to care for little ones. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm very creative and love nature. I love creating sensory activities for young children to interact with. Play is a great way to enhance a child's mind and physical skills. Its the best way to grow and provide learn in my opinion. Healthy growth comes from a loving childhood. It's an honor to be able to be in a child's life on any level.
